    Our Ship-Management (Technical) Department

    adds value to our Clients’ fleet through:

    Timely monitoring of ship’s physical condition and performance, and ensuring they meet or exceed the requirements of international conventions such as SOLAS, MARPOL STCW, ISM, ISPS as well as those of individual owners, charterers, classification societies, flag states and port state controls.
    Regular onboard visits by technical supervising Staff of Port Captain and Port Engineer and internal auditors to implement and assess quality procedures and practices onboard.
    Control of operating expenses within budget without compromising on safety, quality and performance standards.
    Our activity are currently managing a fleet covering a wide variety of vessels:


    Supporting WOOIL’s ability to deliver high performance is our robust Management System which tracks all aspects of shipboard and shore-based operations and measures them against well established key performance indicators (KPIs).

    ● Our Crewing Management Department
    manage a pool of over 450 seafarers of which 350 are at sea at any one time. We recruit seafarers through our own network and through Korea Seafarer’s Employment Association,(??) for Korean Crews and third party crewing agents. We perform stringent checks to verify the employment history, certification and medical records of all applicants. These seafarers go through a rigorous selection process to ensure that only the most qualified and experienced seafarers are admitted as part of our team.

    The education for crews is enhanced on a continuous basis by our training Consortium, supported by Authority, which offers a broad range of courses in Korea and through third party’s Educational Institute for other than Korean crews, are to ensure that all client needs and statutory requirements are fully met. WOOIL has many years of manning experience and the network extends Myanmar, Philippines.

    ● Technical and Consultancy Department
    Offers a complete service of on-site inspection, supervision, technical consultancy(incl. Vetting) at the shipbuilders yard, sub-contractors workshops and main machinery and equipment manufacturers workshop as flying squad onboard in variety of:

    - Pre-purchased Inspection
    - Accident and Damage Inspection
    - Hull and Condition Survey
    - Port State Compliance Inspection
    - Regular Independent Inspection
    - Major vetting pre-inspection and advice
    - New-buildings Consultancy/Supervision Services
    - Engineering and Project Management
